SASEK MEMORIAL FLUKE TOURNAMENT RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. The Vinny Sasek Memorial Tournament will be conducted by the Staten Island Tuna Club beginning at 7 a.m. Saturday, July 26th, 2008 and ending Saturday, July 26th, 2008 at 4pm, Rain date Sunday July 28, 2008 2.
Entry fee will be $25
per angler. 3.
Prize money will be distributed based on 50 entries.
Prizes are as follows: 1st Place - $500 or 50% of prize money, 2nd
Place - $300 or 30% of prize money and 3rd Place - $200 or 20% of prize money. 4.
In the event no fish are caught, the prize money will be
raffled off in three equal amounts. In the event of only one
eligible weigh in, it will be
awarded the first place prize only. Second and third place prize money will be
raffled off in two equal amounts. 5.
In the event of a tie for 1st Place - 1st and 2nd place
monies will be combined; for 2nd place - 6.
Fishing is by rod and reel only. Tackle is unlimited as
to test line, leader length, and double line. 7.
Each angler must supply his own bait with no restrictions. 8.
There are no boundaries. 9. This tournament will abide by the New York State Department of
Environmental Conservation Rules,
Regulations and Laws. 10.
All anglers fishing in this tournament will do so at
their own risk. 11.
Tournament weigh in stations will be Bob’s Marine Mart,
Michael's Bait & Tackle and Biggies Bait & Tackle. ATournament weigh in stations will be Bob’s Marine Mart,

fish can
only be weighed in once. 12.
Prizes will be distributed by check at the July 26,
2008
(or rain date) Awards Ceremony which will be held at 4pm
at Michael's Bait
& Tackle. You must obtain a Certified Weigh in Receipt (as proof of
catch) to claim any prize. 13.
Small craft warning at beginning of tournament automatically cancels
tournament. 14.
VHF
channel 72 will be the official tournament communication channel. KEEP TOP OF FORM AND SUBMIT WITH WEIGH-IN.
