Blackfish Tournament Rules
& Regulations 1.
Triple Play
Blackfish Tournament
will be conducted by the Staten Island Tuna Club beginning at 6 a.m. 2.
Entry fee will
be $100 per boat. 3.
Prizes awarded
based on the highest combined weight of three blackfish. 4.
Prize money will
be distributed based on 50 entries. Prizes are as follows: 5.
In the event no
fish are caught, the prize money will be raffled off in three equal
amounts. 6.
In the event of
a tie for 1st Place - 1st and 2nd place monies will be combined; for 2nd place -
2nd and 3rd place 7.
Fishing is by
rod and reel only. Tackle is unlimited as to test line, leader length, and
double line. 8.
Each angler must
supply his own bait with no restrictions. 9.
There are no
boundaries 9.
This tournament will abide by the New York State Department of Environmental
Conservation Rules, 10.
All anglers
fishing in this tournament will do so at their own risk. 11.
Tournament
weigh in stations will be Michael's Bait & Tackle.
A fish can only be weighed in once. 12.
Prizes will be
distributed by check at the Nov. 9th, 2008 Awards Ceremony which will be held at
7pm at 13.
Small craft warning at beginning of tournament automatically cancels
tournament. All other decisions are at the 14.
VHF Channel 72 will be official Tournament channel KEEP TOP OF
FORM AND SUBMIT WITH WEIGH-IN.
